Introduction to C.S.R.L.
Concrete Structures Research Laboratory (CSRL) was established in 1987 when Prof. Jongsung Sim joined Hanyang University. Prof. Sim got his B.S. degree from Hanyang University in 1975 and M.S. and Ph.D. degree from Michigan State University in 1984 and 1987, respectively. His current research interests include nonlinear analysis of concrete structure, recycling of waste concrete and the use of fiber reinforced polymers (FRP) for civil engineering applications. He has published over 60 papers in the journals and over 180 papers in conference proceedings. The details of these could be found in this web site.

Professor Sim is active in numerous technical society and committees that include NAEK (National Academy of Engineers in Korea), ACF (Asian Concrete Federation), ICCMC (International Concrete Committee for Model Code in Asia), ACI (American Concrete Institute), KSCE (Korean Society of Civil Engineers), and KCI (Korea Concrete Institute) and so on. He is acting the chairman of APFIS 2009 Conference Now.

Currently there are four students in Ph.D. program and seven students in Master degree program in CSRL. The information of them could be found this web site.
